Flash Fiction – Your Song

This weeks flash fiction challenge from Brigid Delaney was:

Write 100 – 200 words in response to the following image. Added challenge use all five senses.

From deep in the depths I hear your song calling to me,

Sweet compelling sounds.

The water is cold on my skin but I cannot resist the lure of your song,

Your voice makes me burn with desire

Deep in the blackness there is no scent just the sound of your song,

Singing of sweet gardens under the sea.

I catch a glimpse of your hair flaming red around your pale skin,

Your beauty is a feast for my eyes.

Our lips touch and I taste you,

A mix of sea salt and promises like the notes of your song.
